About

Heidi Zitrus

"Believe, it's possible" by Heidi Zitrus, a 40-year-old Israeli, courageously reveals a journey you must read.

The purpose of the book "Believe, it is possible" is to convey a message: to help women get out of the cycle of domestic violence, of any kind, and to fill them with hope, because it is indeed possible.

"I managed to get out of a life-threatening situation. I stayed because I was afraid of breaking up a family and hurting the children. But with a lot of courage I decided to face the consequences, the main thing is to get out of the silent violence and the choice of life".

Thanks to women like you, our voices are being heard. And even if it is one voice, if we all join together, it will echo into many, here and around the world.

Wow, what a book! First of all, in a personal appeal to Lia, I would like to express my sorrow that you have had to go through this ordeal, it does not deserve anyone and certainly not your tender children.
I would like to point out that the book is written in a fluid, matter-of-fact way... the story is well structured, the previous sections explaining the following ones. Exciting, annoying. Literally the whole range of emotions and conveys in a good way the feelings of 'Lia', the heroine of the story (who really was a heroine), which indicates an excellent book. And I wish that as many women and people as possible would read this book and something terrible like this and beyond would be prevented.
Thank you for this wonderful book.

As someone who suffered such abuse for 6 years under the auspices of the Israeli justice system, with a father who claims to call himself that. I can relate to all the intensities of pain and frustration expressed in this book.
An excellent and important book that expresses the silent violence that has almost no answer. frustrating.

I have finished reading, wonderful writing of a very difficult life story! Mother Lioness, even in her most difficult moments! Most of the time she chose to focus on the here and now! in the present moment and tried to enjoy it in the midst of all the chaos. A mother lioness who suffered the anger of the children who were not at all to blame for their anger. Even in moments of crisis, when she was falling apart, she did not give up. And good always wins. I want you to know that you are an inspiration! You didn't give up even when you could have. I relate so much to your tenacity, to your persistence, to the long breath you took even when the oxygen was thick. This is a journey and testimony book for your children to use to heal themselves. A highly recommended book. I couldn't put it down.

It's important to write and read books like this. Often happen these things to people next to us and we don't realize what's going on.

The book really affected me. I know how it is to live with a narcissist, being gaslighted and how hard it is to get rid of such a relationship and how much energy you need also afterwards to stand up again.
I don't know the part with the children, because i don't have any, but it's so traumatizing for their little souls and you must be strong for them too.
